Becoming a Central Seminary Student in 3 Steps!

Step #1: Complete the Online Application

Non-refundable application fee of $50 is required to process application for admissions. You will be prompted to pay fee while completing the application.

Step #2: Submit the required materials

  • Doctoral: contact information, professional documents, official transcripts, endorsement form, references, and admission essay
  • Masters/Graduate Certificate: contact information, official transcripts, references, and admission statements
  • Diploma: contact information, references, and admission statements
  • Professional Certificate: contact information, admission statements
  • International Students: (F-1 Visa) can obtain more information here.

Step #3: New Student Process

Once your application is accepted, you start the new student process which includes registration for an upcoming terms that start in August, January, or May.

What it Means to Go to School Virtually

At Central, our virtual learning environment combines the best of traditional classroom experiences with the flexibility of being online. Teaching and discussion happen with all your classmates and the instructor being live, online, in pre-scheduled class meetings times. This option offers students the greatest opportunity to form relationships with others, establish friendships, and expand their professional network. The real-time discussions also allow for additional explanation and context.

Tuition

  • $405 per credit (all programs, excluding Doctoral programs, unless otherwise noted on program page)
  • $530 per credit (Doctoral)
  • $200 per credit hour for Professional Certificate in Chaplaincy
  • 1,000 for the Professional Certificate in Peace and Justice Ministry, full program

Fees

  • $250 per term (all programs unless otherwise noted on program page)

Books (estimate)

  • $100 per class (Diploma and Master’s)
  • $150 per class (Doctoral)
