When you make a gift, you make someone’s journey to ministry possible. Your gifts matter. Here’s how.
Scholarships
100% of degree-seeking students are eligible to receive scholarships or financial assistance. This funding ensures that a seminary education at Central is both affordable and accessible, especially for individuals from underserved communities with less access to educational opportunities.
Student Services
A network of encouragement and helpful resources are essential for persons completing rigorous academic work. The student success team walks with our students from start to finish providing a variety of support services as needs arise.
Technology
Both education and ministry are dependent on technology platforms to accomplish their purposes. Central’s courses are taught in technologically-mediated classrooms, and classes include instruction for leveraging technology in ministry settings.
Faculty Support
Central’s faculty is a top-notch group of scholar-practitioners. Both in and out of the classroom, they are the embodiment of the Central mission to prepare leaders for seeking God, shaping church, and serving humanity and all of creation.

Giving FAQs
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes! Central is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
Will I receive a tax receipt?
Yes! If you donate online, your receipt with tax information will be emailed to you immediately. For other types of donations, we will send your acknowledgement and tax receipt by US mail within one week.
Can I donate by phone if I’d rather not give online?
Donating online is simple and secure. But, if you choose, you may call Central’s business office at 913.667.5710 and use your credit card over the phone.
Can I mail a check for a donation?
Yes! Please mail it to Central Seminary, 8620 W. 110th Street, Suite 200, Overland Park, KS 66210.
Can I make a gift in honor or memory of someone?
Yes! If you give online, there is a prompt for such gifts. If you write a check, please enclose a note with your check that indicates you desire to honor or remember someone with your gift.
I want my gift to directly impact students. Can I give to a designated scholarship fund?
Yes, please contact the Senior Director of Major Gifts and Grants, Janet Pace (jpace@cbts.edu or 913.667.5741) to learn more about giving or establishing scholarship funds.
I don’t have much money. How can I make an impact?
Givers of “small gifts” are the backbone of our fundraising efforts. You can especially make an impact through monthly giving. To give online, simply choose “monthly” for the frequency, and then name your gift amount. You get to be part of an exclusive group named Central Vision.
Can I make a planned gift?
Yes! Central accepts gifts of transferred stock and retirement account funds, real estate and property, bequests and estate gifts, life insurance, and more.
