I have been serving as a supplemental assistant professor in the Korean program at Central since 2013. I teach many different courses, including Biblical Studies in the OT, Spiritual Formation, and Pastoral Ethics. I earned my M.Div at Reformed Theological Seminary (Jackson, Mississippi) and was an Old Testament Ph.D candidate at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. My passion is equipping and training people to effectively handle the Word for God’s kingdom. I get to see students grow in the Word throughout the semester, which is why I enjoy teaching here at Central.
I minister full-time as the senior pastor at Immanuel Presbyterian Church in Mundelein, Illinois. My wife, Haerhim, and I have three children: Rachel, David, and Samuel.
