Mi Ra Kim
Supplemental Lecturer, Pastoral Care
Rev. Mi Ra Kim teaches in the area of counseling. Rev. Kim graduated from the Soodo Women’s Teachers College and Sejong Graduate School in Korea. After completing studies in Theology at San Jose Christian College, she was a PhD candidate from HIS University in Family Ministry, and she is currently in the DMin course of CBTS. For more than 20 years, she has worked in children’s, family, women’s, and counseling ministry in local churches in Northern California. Rev. Kim emphasizes that prevention is better than cure and that the family is an organism where even one healthy person can change an entire family.
Currently, Rev. Kim also serves as CEO and Main Speaker at Duranno Mother School, Americas and as a Director and Seminar Speaker at Christian Family Resource, a home ministry organization in Northern California. She is married and has two children and three grandchildren.
