Kenneth Tombley

Specialist Assistant Professor in Counseling

Dr. Tombley is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Missouri since 2011 and LCPC in Kansas and Clinical Supervisor for Missouri and Kansas. He holds master’s degrees in Divinity and Counseling. He completed his Doctorate in Counseling from Midwestern College and Seminary. His dissertation studied metacognitive training to manage delusions in Schizophrenia. Dr. Tombley teaches as an adjunct professor at Southwest Baptist University in their Psychology Department, Liberty University Online in the School of Divinity, Missouri State University in their Graduate Social Work program, and Midwestern College in their graduate and doctoral programs.

Dr. Tombley presently serves as the Clinical Director for an Adult Treatment Center that offers inpatient and outpatient services where he leads a team composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and case managers. He has experience with both acute and chronic mental illness as well as substance use issues. Dr. Tombley serves on Doctoral Committees as Chair and with a focus on content and research design.
