Rev. Dr. Toya Richards is the Director of the Peace and Justice Ministry Certificate Program at Central Baptist Theological Seminary. In that role, she helps prepare ministry leaders who desire to serve the church and their communities through social change. She also is an endorsed missionary to Africa via International Ministries, and the owner of social enterprise Grace Multimedia. Dr. Richards’ broad portfolio includes a career in secular and faith-based communications, ministry positions in Kentucky and Minnesota, and extensive work in global missions. She holds a Doctor of Ministry degree with an emphasis in pastoral care from McCormick Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity degree from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Western Kentucky University.
