Open House

Location: Central Seminary, Shawnee, KS
As part of “The Future is Central” initiative we launched in late 2023, Central Seminary has placed our Shawnee, KS building on the market and will be moving to a small, right sized space in 2024. We are also in the process of downsizing our 77,000 print book library and moving our resources to the Digital Theological Library. Central will continue to have a small print library following our move, but we will soon be letting go of most of our library resources.
For many these big changes bring a sense of loss and sadness. We are deeply grateful for the time we’ve had in our Shawnee building and for the gift it has been for so many of our students, alums, faculty, and staff. We are also deeply grateful for our Shumaker Library, and we want you to have an opportunity to visit our building before any big changes happen.
All are invited to an Open House at Central on Tuesday, April 2 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
Come walk through the library, sit in the chapel, visit our classrooms, and enjoy a light dessert.
