The Just City: A Panel Discussion

The Peace and Justice Formation class in the Peace and Justice Ministry Certificate program is hosting an open classroom forum this Wednesday from 6:15pm to 7:15 pm (CT). The agenda includes a panel of guest speakers who will be speaking to the theme of The Just City. The event will also include an opportunity to ask our guests panelists questions about their work. Our guests will include Dr. Barbara Wiggins, CEO and Founder Non-Profit 501c(3) Housing and Community Advocacy Agency, who will be speaking on homelessness and Dr. Timothy Tyler, Pastor of Shorter Community A.M.E. Church of Denver, Colorado who will be speaking on racial injustice. After our guests conclude their remarks we will open the floor for discussion and then conclude with some challenges to the group.
