Empathy: Today’s Essential Skill for Ministry and Leadership

Date: October 9, 2025 12:00 pm

Location: Virtual

In an age of loneliness and isolation, we are seeking meaningful connection more than ever before. Have you been in a situation where a friend, colleague, or church member shared something difficult they were going through and you weren’t sure how to respond? When was the last time you disclosed a painful experience and the response you received left you feeling worse? It happens to all of us. In these moments we often don’t know what to say so the hurtful, embedded things we’ve heard from others are what we repeat. Together, we can learn a different way by cultivating empathy skills. In this class, I will teach you simple, practical skills you can immediately put into practice to strengthen both your personal and professional relationships.

While this event is free, pre-registration is required. Register here.
