4-SESSION CERTIFICATE – Creating a Blueprint for Ministry to Children and Families

Date: November 2, 2026 6:30 pm

Location: Virtual

Is your church looking for ways to reach younger generations, but you aren’t sure where to start? Join us for four sessions as we talk and dream about how your church can minister to young families. By the end of these sessions, you will have the tools needed to create a blueprint for a ministry to children and their families at your church. Through topics like choosing curriculum, recruiting volunteers, outreach, partnering with parents, planning events, and keeping children safe, you will be equipped and empowered to build a ministry for younger generations at your church. We will explore resources, brainstorm together, and determine how your church can minister to the younger generations in your community.

This eight-hour, four-week, non-accredited, certificate course will cover the basics of creating a ministry for children and their families. By the end of this course, you will have created your own ministry blueprint to implement at your church. As part of this course, you will also receive Building Blocks of Faith: Teaching the Bible to Children, a strategy for children’s ministry written by Rev. Jessica Asbell Oravec.

November 2 – November 23, Mondays from 6:30pm – 8:30pm CST

$100 registration fee required.
