THE PEOPLEMAP COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: A Way to Enhance Your Interpersonal Communication and Leadership Effectiveness
Peoplemap is a powerful, yet fun and practical learning program. Each participant completes the same seven item questionnaire. This inventory, with 95% accuracy in identifying your personality type, is designed to show each person’s way of relating to others, solving problems, leading and getting work accomplished.
Each person’s questionnaire is immediately self-scored to determine their personality type: Leader, People, Free Spirit, Task. Each type has three in-born strengths, as well as a “weak spot” that we call the Achilles Heel. When understood, the Achilles Heel can be turned into a “learned” strength. Therefore, each personality type as specific areas they need to address in their own growth and development so they can perform at their highest level.
HOW WILL IT BENEFIT US AND WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?
Most people in congregations believe in and want effective relationships. The Peoplemap provides a hands-on tool for building interpersonal relationships. Participants understand themselves better, while developing a new appreciation for other personality types. They leave the workshop with useable skills they can use immediately. Clergy, Church Staffs, and Lay Leaders will develop:
- Better relationships internally & externally
- Enhanced team and committee effectiveness
- More effective communication
- Increased mission advancement
- Stronger appreciation for the value of all personality types
Church Staffs that participate together will immediately gain increased team functioning.
