Angela's roles have included pastor's wife, mother of eight, grandmother of 14, volunteer, public school teacher, homeschooler, Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries at Elliott Avenue Baptist Church in Springfield, Illinois and now, seminarian.
Although the process of arriving at seminary has taken nearly two decades, she is certain that now is the time. “I have a passion for teaching God’s word,” says Angela. “When I teach others, I grow and learn too and I think of the create program as an ‘equipping ground’ for many years of ministry.”
How to Give in Other Ways
Central’s reach and impact continue to grow. We now have 36 Doctor of Ministry students in Myanmar, over 250 Korean language students at various locations in the US, and over 200 students at our Shawnee campus. God is truly blessing the expansive vision of Central. Along with this expanding impact comes significant responsibility to find new and additional sources of funding.
With the many demands for your support, you, understandably, want to find ways to make the most of your charitable gifts. Fortunately, there are many different ways you can support your favorite ministries. Simply writing a check is what most of us first think of doing, but there may be even better ways to give. Have you ever considered gifting stock, retirement plans, or life insurance? Not only does a gift of this kind help support your favorite ministry, it can also have a larger tax benefit for you.

The faculty and staff at Central work hard to be the best stewards of every gift. If you would like to talk about how you could use your property or an IRA charitable rollover, contact Vice President of Institutional Advancement, John Gravley at firstname.lastname@example.org or 913.667.5740.
