Dr. Williams provides individual, couple and group professional counseling for life stressors like trauma, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and couples and family conflicts, specializing in interpersonal relationships counseling (adult, tween, and adolescent) and proven treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of survivors of traumatic experiences including EMDR, Neurofeedback, CBT, DBT, and ACT. I provide individualized coaching toward successful coping and life skills.
She has specialized trainings in enhanced cognitive behavioral therapy, Centre for Eating Disorders, Oxford, England; Medical Family Therapy, Univ of Rochester School of Medicine, Depart of Psych, Institute for the Family, Rochester, NY; Lens Neurofeedback, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, certified professional trauma care counselor, certified DBT and ACT.
Dr. Williams holds the Doctor of Counseling degree (Midwestern College and Seminary, KCMO) and a master’s degree, MFT/Family Care (Sioux Falls Seminary, Sioux Falls, SD). A board approved fellow with the American Association of Bariatric Counselors, she is a licensed clinical marriage & family therapist in private practice at Advent Health, Prairie Star Campus, Lenexa, KS.
