Central Student Selected for Baptist Women in Ministry Mentoring Cohort
Central Master of Divinity student, Courtney Jones, has been selected to participate in the 2021-2023 Mentoring Cohort of Baptist Women in Ministry. Courtney applied to the mentoring program because she is now serving in a ministry setting that affirms her calling and she wants to receive the wisdom and guidance from other women who are serving as pastors. “I am hoping to gain confidence from the other women that I am lacking currently from my history in a non-affirming church. I am also hopeful for the other mentors that will continue to pray with and for me through this journey,” says Jones. President Durso recommended Courtney for the cohort stating that she is “warm and compassionate, a good listener, an honest conversation partner, and an enthusiastic advocate for others. I think she is an ideal candidate to participate in BWIM’s Mentoring Program.” Congratulations, Courtney!
