What to Expect in the MAMCS Program?

The ultimate goal of the MAMCS program is to help you transition from your education directly into ministry work that aligns with your aspirations. This preparation starts with a deep immersion and interpretive study of the foundations of Christian Ministry. From there, students will focus on coaching, leadership, and mentoring practice; all of which bring your coursework to life. The goal of this dynamic process is to help students become more self-aware, empathetic towards others, and engaging in ministry activities.

From there, students examine topics within missions, as well as issues in education and counseling. The last portion of the program helps students design and create a ministry vision that reflects the students’ goals and competencies acquired throughout the MAMCS program. Every term of the program includes one credit of Mentored Ministry Practice, totaling four credits. This ongoing course creates a consistent conversation and awareness of your development as you progress through the program.
