Matthew Luckenbach

Supplemental Assistant Professor of Counseling

Dr. Luckenbach’s education includes Master’s in Counseling, and Doctorate of Counseling degrees from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has taught adjunctively several masters level classes including child/adolescent counseling, psychological tests and measurements, and marriage/family counseling. Other areas of focus and experience are treating adults and children who have been victims of trauma and abuse. He also works with clients who are struggling with depression, anger , parenting concerns, and divorce. Specific areas of interest are helping those who experience significant anxiety issues including high stress, OCD, and PTSD. Along with private practice at Diakonos Counseling, Dr. Luckenbach has worked in in-home, and residential settings.
