Adaptive Leadership in Times of Crisis

In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the concept of adaptive versus technical change. This interactive workshop will highlight the sources, patterns, characteristics, and elements of adaptive challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to identify and assess their own personal and organizational adaptive challenges and consider approaches to addressing those challenges.
Rev. Dr. C. Jeff Woods is currently serving as Interim General Secretary for the American Baptist Churches USA, a denomination that includes approximately 5,000 congregations and 1.4 million members. His previous denominational roles include Associate General Secretary and Executive Minister for the American Baptist Churches of Ohio. He also served four ABC local church pastorates in Indiana. His publications include seven books and over thirty articles on leadership, congregational health, organizational development, and research design. Dr. Woods earned his Ph.D. from Indiana University in Higher Education Administration and Educational Inquiry Methodology, his M.Div. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Pastoral Counseling, and a B.S. from Purdue University in Management and Statistics.
