5-SESSION CERTIFICATE – Technology and Faithful Innovation in Ministry

Technology is reshaping every aspect of our lives, including how we worship, communicate, disciple, and serve our communities. While new technologies present remarkable opportunities for ministry, they also raise important theological, ethical, and pastoral questions. How can the Church embrace innovation without compromising its mission? How can technology strengthen authentic relationships rather than replace them? How do we remain faithful to the Gospel while engaging an increasingly digital world? This five-week certificate course is designed to help pastors, church leaders, and ministry practitioners thoughtfully and faithfully integrate technology into their ministries. Participants will explore the theology of technology, examine the use of artificial intelligence in pastoral ministry, learn effective strategies for digital stewardship and generosity, develop practical approaches to email communication and outreach, and discover how social media can become a tool for building relationships and engaging their neighborhoods. Throughout the course, we will seek to cultivate a theological framework that enables leaders to use technology not as an end in itself, but as a faithful instrument for making disciples, strengthening communities, and participating in God’s mission in the world.
