A reflection from Central Alum and Midrash & a Meal Co-Organizer Lee Jost on this week&rs
Midrash & a Meal is the realization of a dream that two alums, Lee Jost and Tabatha Johnson, had as they were finishing up their studies at Central. They were already lamenting the loss of stimulating, thoughtful discussions with Central faculty, staff, and seminary colleagues after they graduated. Instead of simply grieving that loss; however, they decided to find a way such discussions could continue. They presented the idea to the executive committee of the Alumni/ae Association, secured the support of faculty and staff, and worked out the logistics to put their plan into action.
This blog will follow the Midrash & a Meal events that will launch on September 20 at Central. Read on for more information.
