Continuing Education & Lifelong Learning
Central Seminary values lifelong learning. Dedication to strengthening the heart and mind in service to God’s mission is important. To promote lifelong learning, the seminary offers a number of continuing education opportunities for persons interested in faith enrichment.
- Audit a class – Most of Central’s classes are available to anyone interested in learning more about a specific subject but do not need academic credit. Auditors are expected to participate in class and complete reading assignments. Courses meet weekly for 12 or 6 weeks. The cost is $100 per credit hour. Want to see our upcoming classes? Click here for our course schedules. If you already know the course you wish to audit, click here to start your lifelong learner application.
- Special Programs – The seminary offers webinars and conferences every year on ministry leadership and other critical topics related to the church. Generally, these events are open to the public and registration links are available through our website. Click here to discover upcoming events.
- Vocational Discernment Groups – As part of the seminary’s mission, Central hosts small groups every year to discuss spirituality, life direction and seminary. These groups meet online through video conferencing technology over a six week period. Participation is free, but group size is limited. If you are interested in learning more or signing up for the next group, contact Nathan Huguley.
